This was an amazing pie. If you follow the directions, it's not complicated. Last year I made this as my first blubbery pie, and it was delicious. Everyone who tried it loved it. I have picked more blueberries and dug out this wonderful recipe to use again this year.

I followed the directions exactly, and this turned out so soupy I was embarrassed to serve it. Taste was good, but I think presentation is just as important, and this didn't cut it.

My husband and I went blueberry picking and I decided to make my first blueberry pie without opening a can of Comstock pie filling. I read the reviews prior to making and it came out the best tasting pie I have ever eaten. I increased to 3 1/2 cup of blueberries and doubled the cornstarch to 4 Tbsp and it was simple, delicious and not overly sweet....flavor of blueberries came thru beautifully YUM YUM!

This was a great recipie. I used Half frozen blueberries and it turned out great. I doubled the cornstarch and it was still slightly runny but not bad. I just poured some of the juice off. Very fresh tasting. I will be making this again.

The crust is amazing; the filling even better - this is a keeper! I double cornstarch and went a little over on the blueberries and it was beautiful! I used fresh picked blueberries that I froze after picking. I HIGHLY suggest going picking in the summer and freezing blueberries so you can make this all year!

Loved it. It was so yummy and simple to make. I would definitely double the cornstarch though, otherwise the filling ends up a little runny.
