Ingredients

  • Butter, for pan
  • 5 medium russet potatoes, sliced thinly
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 5 hot dogs, sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

Lightly butter a 9-by 13-inch baking dish. Layer half the potatoes and sprinkle with half the flour. Add a layer of half the hotdogs and broccoli. Great idea but more seasoning needed. I used frozen diced potatoes and frozen broccoli cuts to make it even easier. The potatoes and broccoli need seasoning.

Was a hit in my house everyone liked it, and that is a rarity. I did make one substitution. I subed keilbasa for the hot dogs.

This was not bad but it won't be a weekly or even monthly staple. It tasted good enough to have when the grocery budget is tight or my husband and son want hot dogs since I am not a huge fan of hot dogs this added just enough to make them better for me.
