    Hay Shawn from TX....lol... It"s called shrimp gumbo cos there is "12 POUNDS" of it in the gumbo recipe!. & it is one of the most authentic recipes iv ever ate & i love gumbo and not every one makes it the same this one is relay GOOD!! its just 10 gallons of it.

    Using frozen pre-cooked shrimp and no shrimp boil, add 2tsp Old-bay to cooking rice and then combine with other components, including chopped up shrimp (squeezed 'cuse frozen shrimp are full of water.
