Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky; 3 1/2 ounces fresh Sweet and Sour Mix, recipe follows.; 3 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice; 1-quart water; 1-quart fresh lime juice (lemon juice can be substituted to taste); 1 1/2 cups sugar; 1/2 egg white (optional, gives a great frothiness to any shaken drink)

1 1/2 ounces Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky

3 1/2 ounces fresh Sweet and Sour Mix, recipe follows.

3 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice

Sweet and Sour Mix:

1-quart water

1-quart fresh lime juice (lemon juice can be substituted to taste)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 egg white (optional, gives a great frothiness to any shaken drink)

Directions

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for five seconds. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice. Garnish with an orange and cherry "flag".
