On it's own, the salad dressing is pretty good. Not really what Olive Garden's tastes like, at least from what I remember. I did do one thing that really improved the flavor and added about 2 teaspoons of Good Season's (made from the packet that I had in the fridge and it made this the best salad dressing I have ever eaten!!! Hopefully my guests will agree!!

This dressing was AWESOME!! Like others I've read, I wasn't sure about those ingredients, but I thought "what the heck, I'll try anything once". So glad I did. I made it for a grad party. Everyone loved it!!

When I tasted the dressing for this salad on it's own I wasn't sure they were right--but put it all together with the salad ingredients and I think it's a great interpretation! It definitely satisfies my craving!

I was really hesitant to make this dressing after some of the reviews it got, but went ahead anyway. I substituted white vinegar for the white wine vinegar, and used fat free miracle whip for the regular kind (just used what I had on hand. After following the recipe's exact measurements, I found the olive oil taste a little overwhelming so I added another Tbsp white vinegar. That made it too tart, so I added about a tsp honey. That made it perfection! So glad I found this recipe.

I made this recipe for my husband and myself and we loved it. I did use mayo instead of Miracle Whip and that added enough sweetness to it to make it not so tart. The salad was the very same as Olive Gardens. I noticed someone said that their Olive Garden dressing wasn't creamy. The dressing that you buy at our Olive Garden is creamy looking in the jar. I liked the dressing about 10 years ago. I don't know if they changed or my taste buds changed, but now I think it is to tart.

My review is for the dressing not the salad. I have eaten at the Olive Garden many times and just love their salad dressing, so I couldn't wait to try this recipe. This dressing tasted nothing like the dressing we love at our local Olive Garden. Unless each Olive Garden has their own secret recipe, don't waste your time or money. This dressing is bland - just awful. The recipe requires so much tweaking, I'm not sure where to begin. I would probably eliminate the water altogether as I think it dilutes any flavor the dressing has. Also, I'm skeptical about the Miracle Whip. I'm not sure it belongs. I was expecting a dressing with a crisp, clean flavor, but this fell horribly short. None of us like it and I won't be making it again. By the way was this recipe even tested before publication in your magazine??????

I made this yesterday for a get together at a friends house and it was delicious! I don't understand why some people didn't like it. I followed the receipt but doubled it. I thought the dressing was excellent and will definately make again ...and again.

That headline just about says it; I'll never make it again, and I must say it was quite a let-down.
