my family and I love this recipe. I have made it several stimes since I received it in the Food Magazine. My husband, whom rarely eats salad, had 3 helpings! the first time i made it! The breadsticks were incredible! This recipe is a keeper for sure!! :

I doubled this recipe to make some extra. I found it quite tasty but a little on the tart side. I added 2 T. of sugar (remember that's a double batch As always, dressing always tastes better if you let it sit awhile and the flavors meld. I shook my dressing together in an emptied jar. Homemade dressing always tastes better than bottled...

I don't know about the dressing tasting like Olive Garden's but it was REALLY good. I added more parm than called for. I made it a day ahead so the flavors melded. For the salad I used a butter lettuces mix and omitted the pickled peppers.

Followed the recipe exactly, nobody in my family liked it. It was edible, but with so many other good dressings out there, making this is a waste of time. Definately not close to tasting like Olive Gardens dressing.

I just made this salad and dressing, and I thought the dressing tasted very close to Olive Garden. I used romaine lettuce instead of the American blend, just because I think it looks prettier, and left out the olives. It was quick and easy and tastes delicious!

I love the salad dressing at the Olive Garden, so I was particularly excited to find this recipe. However, this dressing was not what I expected. I was skeptical of the addition of mirale whip since the vinaigrette at the Olive Garden is not creamy. The flavor of the miracle whip over-powered this dressing. With some additional seasoning, this dressing was not terrible on the salad. But if you are looking for a zezty italian vinaigrette like the one at the Olive Garden, this dressing is nothing like that.

I disagree and thought it tasted just like the olive garden - I did use Lite Miracle Whip and it seemed to work well. Mixed it all up with a whisk. I've made it twice and making it again tomorrow!

This dressing does not taste like Olive Garden. I also agree that it tasted way too much like the Miracle Whip. Maybe if there was a little less in there, it would taste better. I would make it again, but it wouldn't be my first choice either. If you want the Olive Garden taste at home, just go buy a bottle of it from the restaurant because this recipe isn't it.

This doesn't taste like the saladfrom the Olive Garden. Actually, all I could taste was Miracle Whip. It was edible but I won't make it again.
