Love these. We've tried other pretzel recipes... they all taste pretty similar, but these are the easiest to make so we choose these.
Super yummy with grated parm. cheese, or cinnamon/sugar.
I also cooked on a MUCH lower temperature. I think 350.

These are so good that they didn't last through the day. I didn't do the butter bath or top them with salt and they were still sooo good!

LOVE THEM! I made these tonight, with a few changes. I used whole wheat flour, and instead of salt on the tops, I used Old Bay seasoning (we're from Baltimore, hon! I skipped the post-bake butter bath. They were GREAT! One recommendation - watch them after 7 minutes in the oven, or lower the temperature. If I would have let mine go for 10, they would have been charcoal.

WWWAAAYYYY better than the Alton Brown recipe on here! I signed up just to make this review. Like others have said, instead of doing the dunking in 8 tbsp. of butter thing I just used a pastry brush (which if you're a novice, I just use a child's paintbrush from the dollar store with only 4 tbs. of butter, and still had some left over. Not because I'm trying to be healthy or anything... I really love a good amount of butter and this was still perfect for me. I tried the Brown recipe several times before this and not only do they taste remarkably better, the dough is 50 times easier to work with.

WOW!!!! This pretzel was better than any pretzel I have ever bought. I had to add a little more milk to make it the right dough consistency. Otherwise it was PERFECT. My family went crazy over them !!!

This was one of the most delicious pretzels I've tasted...We did cut down the heat a bit (the baking temp. and lengthened the bake time by about 5 min. Fantastic!!! I actually had to shoo my husband out of the kitchen so I could make the sauce!!! Definitely will do again and probably will triple the recipe...

These pretzels are DELICIOUS! Very easy, too. As another reviewer mentioned, I also brushed on the butter with a pastry brush, instead of dipping - doing it this way requires only 4 tablespoons of melted butter. This recipe is a keeper!!

Excellent! I have made these several time. I also brushed the butter on after they came out of the oven. That way you don't need as much.
