Linda, I have always used Frank's Red Hot original sauce; it's a popular choice. I thought the wings were excellent. I have always used this sauce recipe but had not cooked the wings this way. Very crisp.

I ordered Anchor Bar hot sauce and cooked the wings this way. My guests couldn't get enough and I had to actually send someone out to buy more chicken to make it through the party.

This is the easiest wing recipe ever! And great tasting too! Wings are moist and not greasy. No frying mess to contend with. And you can improvise on the sauce recipe or use your own favorite BBQ sauce. AB is the BEST!

I've tried making wings a variety of ways- but never like this! They were fantastic- sooo crispy on the outside and moist on the inside! Wow, can't believe I've been missing out all this time! I'll have to try the sauce next time! Thanks! :

I didn't think baked wings could taste as good as fried ones but these did. The only thing I did differently is when I took them out of the steamer basket and dried them off, i dusted them with flour before putting them on the cookie sheet to rest in the refrigerator. I think the flour make them a little more crunchy and absorbed the sauce.

    Thanks,
    Terri

We love these wings!!! Made without butter to keep "healthier" and added red pepper flakes kick up the spice. Big hit! Making for Superbowl!

We always have a house full on Football Sundays and each week I experiment with something new. After making these wings one week, they were requested again for the following. First time made as directed-excellent! Second time (obviously doubled recipe! but cooked 5 minutes longer on each side and added a few drops of a habenero sauce to kick it up a tad. Outstanding! Already requested for Super Bowl Sunday. The local butchers will need to stock up on wings after this recipes gets out there. Enjoy.

Whatever you want to call them, these wings are delicious and can rival any fried wing. Easy to make and whatever that steaming process does, it is worth the extra effort (I tried skipping this step once. And honestly, who cares if they are not true Buffalo Wings? I'm not from there but I went once upon a time and found that every place makes them differently. Besides, its not like Alton Brown knows anything about food... Right? (Thanks A.B.!
