I tried this recipe and I had everything needed (though I only had a 1/4 cup molasses and i was afraid that my husband would not like it. It was strong. Well after the 3 hour soak and then cooking down the sauce, He and I were absolutely amazed at how awesome this recipe was. I am making it again today and also giving some to a friend who want to try. I have to say this is the absolute best pork marinade/sauce I have ever tasted.

OMG These pork chops came out fantastic. I don't know about the few reviews that were not good, they must have done something wrong. I have never marinated using coffee before. The blend of coffee and the other ingredients creates something magical. This is my first Alton Brown recipe and I have a new, high opinion of his talents. Make this and you won't be sorry. I can't wait for guests to come over so I can impress with this recipe. I used boneless pork chops instead of bone-in, and they were great.

These pork chops could make steak jealous. I don't have access to an outdoor grill so I broiled mine for 8 minutes on each side and it worked fine.

Wonderful. We would serve these chops to company! I bet it would be good with a little Bufalo Brand Chipotle Hot Sauce added to the marinade. The molasses reduction reminds me of baked beans.

Taking the extra time to do up your pork chops is well worth it! Be sure to do the glaze at the end too!

Simply delicious, easy to make, and no leftovers ever when I make it! Have tried to make extra for me to take to work but never seem to last that long

I am not a cook. I have made popcorn and hot tea and that's about it. I decided to cook for my family using this recipe and it was so delicious! Since this went over so well, my family has granted me permission to cook for them again!

side note: for the Coffee: I used French Market Coffee that I french slow dripped. awesome!

    Try this out!!!

I have made this several times in the past couple of months.
Wouldn't change a thing! Very moist and flavorful chop.
Everyone in my family loves it. If you make it for friends be prepared-
print out or email the recipe, they will want it.

I made this a couple of nights ago and was amazed. Instead of pork chops, I used Pork Sirloin. Anytime you need to impress someone, pull out this recipe and you will definitely accomplish your goal. This marinade/glaze can also be used on any kind of steaks or chops....It is just too good!

I made these last night on the grill. They were great. I kept out a portion of the marinade as I worry about the reduction that the raw meat was in. The only change I would make next time would be to double the garlic and maybe add a little heat.
