I have never felt compelled to write reviews before, but I just had to make the time for this one! Recipe is FOOL-PROOF.. it was my first time making brown rice (husband wouldn't touch it before. It came out perfectly! A few modifications: I used a drizzle of olive oil instead of butter, half water/half chicken stock. I am now making brown rice at home instead of white rice every time!

This is the way to make brown rice. I used chicken broth and I added chopped onions and shredded carrots and when I took it out of the oven I added frozen peas. YUM!

I love brown rice and I have tried for years to figure out the correct way to cook it, mine always turned out mushy, or wet yet undercooked. This recipe is the best, it turns out perfect everytime and so easy to prepare! You'll never try to cook brown rice any other way. Try it, you'll love it!

This is the easiest way to make rice. Never again will you find me watching and waiting for a pot of rice to be done. I just put in the over and listen out for my timer to let me know it's done. The best thing is the rice always comes out prefect.

Can I just say---this is hands down the best way to make brown rice! The texture and flavor comes out beautifully. I used broth in lieu of the water and WOW. I have found my new favorite side dish!

Our family made many healthy lifestyle changes this past year and had been searching for a good recipe for brown rice. This is a no-fail recipe and we love the nutty taste and great texture. My kids ask for seconds everytime. I haven't purchased instant white rice since!!!

I have been trying to incorporate more whole grains in our diet, but every time I made brown rice it was inedible. We live in Louisiana, and consume rice with gumbo, red beans, etc. This recipe has finally given me a way to use brown rice with our traditional foods. You Rock, Alton!

This recipe is MUCH better than making brown rice on the stovetop. Great flavor!

I'm not to fond of this as stand-along rice, but as the begning to many other dishes it is hard to beat!
