Not only is this a super easy dessert to throw together, it is also pretty good for you and guilt free! I love all of Alton's recipes!

Just like a mini apple pie without the crust. Very tasty. I also felt like it was better for me. ha ha. Hubby and his friend liked it too. I used about half the butter, but will probably use more next time because some of the filling stayed dry without the right amount.

This is a great recipe. Prep is so easy, and exact portions aren't absolutely necessary. You can prep them while your dinner is cooking and put them in the oven when dinner is ready- 40-50 minutes (including resting time is just about perfect for eating dinner, so you'll have fresh dessert when you're ready. The presentation is great, and I'll definitely be using this at my next dinner party. The best part- while they're baking, the entire house smells like apples and cinnamon! You can also substitute the honey for other things that go well with apples, like caramel.

Many yummy treats, as described on TV, do not live up to their hype. This apple struesel absolutely did. Filling and impressive. Thank you, Alton.

These are the best baked apples. The streusel topping is to die for, and the little bit of honey in the core area really gives the apples a nice flavor. I always look forward to making this recipe in the fall and winter months. Thanks, Alton!

We were astounded by how good this was... and what a nice alternative to overly sweet desserts after a large holiday meal. Our family was very pleased, too. This will be our third time making them in under a year.

This recipe was so easy, and impressed my friends so much. My husband and I now keep Braeburn apples on hand all the time, in case the urge hits. We've done a little experimenting and discovered that adding a caramel or two to the honey really enhances this recipe.
