We were really disappointed with this mustard - it had a bitter aftertaste. It also did not cook in the first minute and was very thin after using the hand mixer. I had to cook it an additional minute or two to get it to thicken.

I wish I had read the reviews before making this mustard. Definitely too thin for a mustard, but we will try it as a sauce for salmon, chicken, etc. Maybe mix some with yogurt. I'll try using the suggestions for a thicker preparation.

The mustard didn't thicken untill I tried heating it up and I found that to help alot, but it took away alot of the mustard flavor. The mustard keeps well and is fairly tasty though.

I made the recipe. Very strong mustard flavor.
I had to microwave it for 2 - 3 minutes to help reduce the amount of water to get it to thicken up.
Plus I played with the 'heat' a bit and microwaved it for 1 minute without the Vinegar to let it heat up a bit before I added the vinegar.
I wouldn't say it's the best mustard ever, but it's very good and flavorful.

I'm a big Alton Brown/Good Eats fan, but this was awful. I followed the recipe exactly, and ended up with a thin mustard looking liquid with minimal mustard flavor. Even after going out and buying new mustard seed and mustard powder, this was still foul. Find another recipe.
