I made this for Christmas and my son who doesn't even like creamed corn loved it. He insisted on taking all the leftovers home! The only change I made was I made it with frozen corn. I can't wait to make it with fresh!YumYumYum!!

Yum! Didn't have fresh rosemary but a bit of dried rosemary was still a hit. Used 1 1/2 bags of frozen corn to do 1/2 the servings listed and it worked out great. (Note: 1 ear of corn yields 6 oz Pleasantly surprised because turmeric makes me nervous, but it went so well with this dish. Went well with a simple roast beef (recipe from America's Test Kitchen and Ann Burrell's Smashed Potato Gratin.

Three words: Oh... my... god. This is the best creamed corn I have ever tasted. So creamy, rich, and delicious. I made this for Thanksgiving, so corn was not in season locally; I used frozen organic corn kernels instead with great results.

LOVE this recipe! I made it for a sunday dinner with ham and it turned out so great. I added some jalepenos and did not have corn meal so I substituted jiffy mix, just a little. It turned out so great, I have made this before for easter and followed the recipe to the T and turned out wonderful! Alton is great!

I've been a huge fan of Fleming's creamed corn so I used this recipe, which is excellent on its own, but added a few twists. I added a mild chili to the onion before adding the corn ( I used defrosted frozen corn. Then, when I added the cream (half and half, I included some chipotle powder (from Penzy's. When at a rich creamy consistency, I poured the corn in a ceramic dish, topped it with sharp white cheddar and sprinkle with a bit more chipotle powder and popped it in the oven until golden on top!
This was a side dish with roasted lobster tails and baked potatoes and it stole the show!

You need one or two more stars to rate this outstanding dish. Alton is definitely over-the-top on this one.

Best creamed corn recipe ever. This recipe is so easy and delicious. I made half the recipe and the two of us ate every bit and still wanted more! We will definitely be making this again and again.

I have been making this recipe for a LONG time, and every time it turns out perfect. It has become a must have dish for all holidays, family/friend get-togethers, and for a nice dinner any night of the week. Sometimes I add less onion so that even the picky eaters in the family will enjoy it.

Just made this tonight (first time I've ever had homemade creamed corn and it was absolutely fabulous. Can't wait to turn the leftovers into cornbread tomorrow.
