I made this hoping to get my husband to like blueberries (he claimed he didn't like them but probably only had had fake ones in muffin mix?. Now he LOVES them, thanks to Alton for this yummy recipe.

Used some wild Maine blueberries I had in the freezer and there was no problem, just stirred them right in. What I like about this recipe is that it is not too sweet which allows the taste of the blueberries to shine. Set the oven on convection bake and it took more like 45 minutes to an hour to get a really golden color. Had set the oven 25 degrees cooler (for convection but next time (and there will be a next time will bake at 375 (convection.

I was unable to get fresh blue berries but frozen worked find though with the added water content caused the cooking time to almost tripple..

I made this dessert after seeing this episode. I didn't think that it would be as good as it was though. And I didn't have any blueberries so I made it with apples instead. This was the most moist and delicious thing I have ever baked. Thank you Alton Brown!
