A bit of work, but quite tasty. I have made the straight recipe, but always end up adding a bit more blue and cheddar cheese. But I'd rate the unmodified recipe as a 5-star also, I just like cheese.

Love Alton, but this recipe was a miss for me. Shocking broc. did make for nice color and texture (not mushy but the sauce was an odd-flavored gloppy mess. I do like the idea of a broc/cheese casserole, but am gonna have to keep looking at other recipes. I don't know if trying to tweak this one will help, perhaps spreading this out into a larger pan would improve the way it cooks overall, giving you a better consistency and a little crispness to top.

Loved it! I won't change a thing. I've made this recipe numerous times with many request for the recipe. Thanks Alton

I've made this dish for two Thanksgivings in a row now and it's a big hit with my family. The first time I made it I left out the mushrooms. This year I decided to add them. By the time I went back for seconds the dish was empty! My nephew just raved about it. The only variation I do to the recipe is omitting the mayo and using all greek yogurt. I also added a touch of red wine while sauteing my mushrooms. Delicous!

This recipe is too easy to be this tasty! I added 1/2 onion to the mushroom sauté and used Greek yogurt. This will be a be a staple.

I was very disappointed in this recipe. It seemed very undistinguished and unexciting. Will not bother to make it again.

My go-to veggie dish for potlucks. Ramen noodles add good structure and texture. Just make sure the bleu cheese dressing is mild, otherwise you might want to cut back on it a little.

Followed the recipe to a "T" except for the part about sauteeing the mushrooms - didn't see the instructions until I mixed them in - and adding bite-sized pieces from two ham steak slices. WOW! What great flavor. This makes a wonderful all-in-one casserole. And lining the dish with non-stick aluminum foil, instead of oil, made clean-up a cinch. This is a keeper... and one I'll be serving frequently.

I followed most of this recipe and added some of my own additions such as green onions to the mushrooms when I sauteed them. I also used sour cream in place of the yogurt. The recipe was delicious. I intend to add diced chicken the next time I make it, which would make it truly a complete meal.
