This is the best broccoli casserole I have ever had! I was worried about the noodles but you really couldn't tell they were there. I will use this recipe from now on. Bravo Alton!

This is one of my favorite recipes to make. Being a "broke college student," I also love this meal because it produces yummy leftovers (if my roomies don't get to it. I normally don't reviews recipes but tonight I had a problem that I just had to write about. I was making the broccoi casserole and noticed that I forgot the plain yogurt and all I had was cherry. I used it anyways with a little bit of sour cream and it came out yummy as ever! sometimes I can't find plain and I use vanilla, sometimes the vanilla is too sweet and the plain is too boring, I think i might use cherry from now on. The best result I have had was cooking it in a round casserole dish. I don't always measure the cheese but I tend to add more and sometimes I put cooked chicken pieces in it for a complete meal.

This casserole was incredibly easy to prepare and flavor started out wonderful. But about halfway through a serving my wife and I found it difficult to finish.

This is so easy to make. Everyone at church loves it. My kids adore it. I have adapted the recipe to include more than just brocolli. Alton Brown we love you.

This casserole was fantastic. I too have been searching for a broccoli casserole recipe that doesn't use canned soup. I didn't have yogurt or sour cream so I used a cup of mexican crema instead. It was so delicious. I also used a 5-year aged Vermont cheddar. I will be committing this recipe to memory.

This doesnt' sound healthy or necessarily better than casserole with cream of mushroom soup. Check out the ingredients of the ramen seasoning packet! MSG, etc.--it's not a healthier version of a classic, which I would gladly welcome. Sorry, Alton.

I changed the recipe a little, added extra cheese, and tried it out with three kids who are pretty picky eaters. My son and niece finished it off and asked for more before anybody else had gotten a chance to try it. I loved it, and so did everyone else. It can be made in a 9" pie plate, two packages of frozen broccoli, and any type of cheese you like, and still be fantastic (with the pie plate there's enough left over that you can make another batch later!.

I watched the show in which Alton Brown does this casserole. As an avid reader of labels, and a diabetic, I was more than amazed that Alton vapidly eschewed a can of cream of mushroom soup (which he says has 800 milligrams of sodium and, instead, uses a package of Ramen noodles; which have 910 milligrams of sodium! Alton could have, as well, told folks you can get a low sodium/low fat cream of mushroom soup on any grocery shelf (which would have been a much more healthful choice.....but then, dear readers, you would not be able to avail yourselves of Alton's hype.

I have been dubious about Alton since I saw him try to smoke fish in a box (salmonella city and show us how to fry some - much too big - smelts for a very brief cooking time (which would leave all the bacteria, etc in the fish.

This recipe is not healthy;it turned to goo whilst I was cooking it and it was totally unappetizing: No one in my home would touch the casserole. I don't know what the other posters did to their casseroles but I hazard a guess that most people posting have not really tried to make the recipe. Alton: I want my TV back.
