I cooked this for my boyfriend last night and LOVED it!!! I didn't have sockeye salmon-so I used the farm raised version. It was still fantastic. I love this recipe so much because it is so easy and SO good. I used a blend of lemon and lime zest because I didn't have enough lemons. I servied it with a warm bacon, leek spinach salad. No one will be able to tell how little work went into the dish. I love you Alton Brown!

Love salmon, and try to have it different ways without hiding the great salmon flavor. Nice glaze, not too heavy or sweet, just enhances the salmon. Served it with lemon slices. VERY EASY!

I made this recipe with 1 lb. Norwegian salmon and it worked perfectly. We drizzled the sweet glaze that had dripped off the salmon on top. I would say this recipe gives a lot of bang for very little prep time.

I used farmed salmon, yes I no the wild is far more superior, however it came out perfect, non the less. Would not change a thing.

I love Alton Brown and trust his recipes but this one did not work for me. Followed instructions... don't know if the broil setting on my oven is too powerful but the whole thing burnt after 2 minutes. After buying a nice piece of sockeye salmon I was very disappointed. I will never make this again.

I made this last night with a salmon filet, I couldn't find Sockeye at the store. It was great! I didn't think it would have a lot of flavor because it was so simple, but the brown sugar made a glaze, it got a little hard and it was just great! I will add more lemon next time, I dont think I did quite 2 Tbsp, so I squeezed some lemon on top when I plated it. Very good! I definitely will make it again.

My wife and I saw this recipe on Alton's show and decided to give it a try. Its so delicious that it became our default recipe for salmon. Since we normally don't have lemons in the house, we have done it minus the zest, and its still a delicious recipe.

This is the best salmon recipe I have ever tried. The citrus glaze complimented the fish perfectly.
