I made this salad today. The rice is nice and nutty and the flavor is excellent. I think people have had problems with the vinegar is because they didn't let the sauce cook together before adding the rice and bacon. I added a bit more chopped dill and a table spoon of chopped flat leaf parsley. GREAT!!

I love this tip - never thought to bake rice, but it's perfect - fuss-free! Throw it in and forget about it, then it's done!

I have looked for a great brown rice recipe that was diffrent for a while, this is it. My Wife does not like Vinegar and she loves this, I made this thinking I was the only one eating it, she ate almost all of it!

Wife and I loved this! She's been trying to get me on brown rice for a while, and this looked good enough on TV. We followed recipe amost exactly and came out awesome. A tiny bit salty to me, but that's probably because I backed off on some of the other "heartier" ingredients for the missus. This will become a regular meal for us!

I initially withheld 1/2 of the vineager but added it after my initial taste, it needed it. Really good flavors and use of brown rice. Next time, I'll omit the dill and add a dried fruit for an Italian agra dolce, sweet & sour rice salad.
Thanks Alton
