With a name like Burger of the Gods who could resist. I was craving a good burger and this wasn't it. Both my husband and I thought the taste was incredibly bland. The recipe made three burgers. I threw most of mine out and the third one is for the dogs. I would never make this recipe again.

Absolutely the BEST burger ever. I was doubtful of only having salt in the recipe, but the taste of the beef was outstanding!

It's truly amazing the difference freshly ground meat makes. An extra ten minutes prep time and you have fresher, safer, and tastier ground beef than you'll ever get from the grocery store.

Good mix of beef cuts and good grilling technique, but never add salt to ground meat unless you want it to turn out tough/chewy like sausage patties. Use the same procedure but only salt the outside of the formed patties just before you place them on the grill or in the pan ( the reaction with salt happens very quickly. 3 cheers for proper burgers!

Great tips for a basic burger recipe. I've seen too many burgers go wrong. Once you learn this basic burger you have the base to make all sorts of awesome burgers.

This was a good burger. Nothing fantastic, but definitely better than the packaged ground beef. I ground the meat in a meat grinder, with a coarse setting, and grilled them over charcoal. After adding the condiments nothing stood out as exceptional, but it was quite good. My youngest daughter ate two burgers, which says something, as she typically does not finish one. My other two kids really liked them. Perhaps it's just me. After reading the stellar reviews I was expecting something on the order of a restaurant wagyu burger experience.

The Most Delicious Burger we've ever had! It is absolutely perfect & simple! Has to be chuck & sirloin, not "ground beef"! Really makes a difference! You'll never be happy with a fast food burger again! Thanks Alton

If you are reading through these reviews wondering if you should try this recipe, STOP NOW AND GET TO COOKING!!! This is an amazing recipe and I am a God amongst my family when it comes to Burgers. It may be tempting to buy a package of frozen patties because it saves so much time, but the effort in these bad boys is definitely worth it!!!
Watch the video and note the tips he gives. Small batches, 10 pulses, keep the meat cold, ONLY season with Kosher Salt ... nothing else, don't mess with the burgers when they are cooking, cooking times are very exact. 4 minutes gives a little pink, 5 minutes totally cooked through. What is nice about this recipe is that even when cooked medium to medium well at

Great tasty slider! Pain to grind meat then clean food processor. I did add more 2tsp. more salt plus 2tsp. garlic powder & 2tsp onion powder. Men in my life loved it! I used Bobby Flay's chipotle mayo recipe.
