I never knew you could do this is a food processor or I would have done it a long time ago. This was wonderful and it is just like the top grade of ground beef I use to get from my old butcher. Will never buy ground from the store again!!!

I have tried many recipes for the "perfect burger" and this one is the best I have found. My family requests it an a regular basis - which is the real test of a great recipe. I have not had one recipe/technique of Alton Brown's that has failed me. Thanks!

The burgers for this recipe are delightful for the palet. You will never go back to making hambergers the same old buy the 3 lbs already ground and mix it with 2 eggs and a can of rotel. Yeah, Okay, I was lost...However, this is great. My husband is thankful. I do know how to cook...No really I do, this is just simply more flavorful. I was stuck in the daily grind(punof work, cook, and then clean. This takes no time at all and has great flavor! Thank you so much for airing this segment for all to share!

We've been using this combination for a couple years now but we use a food grinder attachment on our stand mixer. -the kids like to feed it down. We had a coupon for store ground pre-packaged hamburger meat and bought some. Defintely NOT worth the savings. I will sometimes slip a couple pads of butter in there too! MMMM! butter...

What a great idea! I now grind my own burger for everything from meatloaf to tacos. I have not purchased ground burger since seeing this episode. The flavor difference is remarkable. Thanks Alton.

This recipe tasted like chopped steak. It was the best burger I have ever tasted. Also super easy to make.

I watched the "Good Eats" show that made the described hamburger in a food processer. It's just as easy as it looks, and the taste will make you throw rocks at store-ground hamburger. Great burgers!

Ever since I have ground my own burgers, they have never tasted better. To save time have the butcher grind at the market.
