    I am a huge country fried steak fan, and this was just OK for for me. I would have liked for it to have a little more thicker, crispier crust. Other than that it was OK.

    My husbands favorite, but it really didn't match up to a GOOD chicken fried steak. It was just OK.

    The steaks are terrific, the gravy not so much. Having eaten probably a million chicken fried steaks growing up in Texas in a Southern family. I will tell that I have never seen chicken stock and thyme in a "cream gravy". I reduced the amount of chicken stock to 1/2 cup and increased the milk, left out the thyme, bumped up the black pepper and it was just like home.

    Great, I used used cubed round steaks, it holds more of the egg and breading.
