Everyone really enjoyed them. A nice change from the traditional Thanksgiving sweet potato! Really easy and affordable.

So yummy. We never do mashed sweet potatoes without adding the extra spice. If we are out of chipotle we use smoked cayenne pepper.

I've been making this since I spotted Alton making this on his show: epic. Great with turkey as well as a great steak! This is a standard in our family for the holidays, as well as an occasional BBQ in the summer.

Amazing! My husband dislikes dishes that makes sweet potatoes overly sweet, so this was a hit with him. I added a splash of cream to make it smoother. We will definitely make this dish again.

Love it! Was a great way to use up my leftover chipotles and gave a new more savory twist to sweet potatoes. Easy to make and very inexpensive.

We love this recipe. It's a great change up from the usual marshmallow, pecans etc. version. For ease and more depth of flavor, I roast the potatoes (skin on for 1 hour in a 400 degree oven, then peel, mash and proceed with recipe.

    Easy and tasty!

Took to Thanksgiving at my sister's for the past couple of years and converted her. (She used to think she didn't like sweet potatoes, because she's only had the marshmallow or brown sugar/pecan/coconut casseroles we'd always had before.

Thanks Alton - fast, simple and delicious. What more could I ask for. Made it exactly according to recipe (usually makes sense first time out of the chute and it was perfect. You're the man!
