    I converted my ham hating husband with this recipe. He must have eaten 10 slices!! The gingersnaps and bourbon give it a great kick.

    Have made this city ham twice for my family and they all loved it...even my very picky youngest brother (13 yrs. old. The preparation is a little messy, but worth it because it's SO tasty! Leftovers don't last long at all.

    I was living in Ohio last year and hosted Christmas Dinner for some friends. I decided to make this recipe and everyone LOVED it!! A few people questioned the ginger snaps that are used...until they tasted it! It delivers just enough sweet and spice throughout the meat. Since I'm home for the holidays this year, I thought I'd try it again for my family...
