Thats the recipe Alton made on the show. If you had watched the show you would have known that. He used a can as a mold.

I have made this recipe twice now and it is a hit every time. In fact my family was bummed we didn't come home to make it for them. The only modification I make is to put the sauce in my muffin tin. That way no one has to deal with cutting it up and it makes for a nice presentation.

I have bought my last can of cranberry sauce! This recipe was very simple, yet delicious!! This is now a permanent member in my recipe book....

This was really gross. The honey completely overpowers the flavour of the cranberries. The orange juice can't even be detected because it just tastes like weird, slightly tart & chunky honey.

I will never make this with honey again. Sugar is a more neutral flavour and will let the cranberry shine and not cover up the orange note that it should have.

I've made this recipe a number of times, and for some reason, I can either get it at "loose jam" or "almost hard as a rock" consistency, never at the wobbly jelly level of the canned variety or what's seen in the episode. That said, the flavor can't be beat, with the honey the element that really sells the dish. It's absolutely addicting. If only cranberries were available fresh more often so this wouldn't have to be confined to a few weeks in November and December! Ah well, it's still well worth the wait every year.

Why in the WORLD is main picture for this recipe one of the joke pictures of canned cranberry from the show? How on earth is that going to lure people in for this wonderful recipe?

Anyway, this stuff is fabulous. Not many people eat cranberry sauce at my house though, so I'm thinking this time around I will halve the recipe. Thank you Alton! You're still my favorite.

My husband and I are soldiers in the Army and are very often away from our families on Thanksgiving. Last year I was in Germany and found this recipe. I invited some guys over from my company (turned out to be four guys, my hubby, and me and made them a "mostly-from scratch" thanksgiving dinner. I made this dish and they went nuts! It was soooo easy to make and it tasted and smelled amazing!! We are now in the states and will be having more soldiers over for thanksgiving and I definitely plan on making this recipe again! Thanks so much for a great recipe!!

This is so good I make extra. We enjoy it year round on our Turkey sandwich's as well as between cake layers, on ham etc. Our entire family loves it!

GREAT GRUB. Never did like that junk that came out of a can.
