    Thank you very much Alton Brown! This is a great recipe. The only change I made is instead of minced garlic, I grated it. It turned out to be in finner form so nobody have a garlic bite. Beside that. everything else is great! This is the simplest recipe ever! Simple and very delicious! Thank you for sharing us such great recipe!

    Amazingly simple and delicious! After reading reviews before making, I was cautious about the salt and garlic (even with using 4-4.5# potatoes and wished I hadn't been! Next time I'll follow the recipe exactly (well, adjust it to make more.

    I made these several times and they are wonderful. They reheat well too. They were great with Ina Garden's beef bourginon, recipe on this site too.

    These were the best mashed potatoes I've ever made! I used the heavy cream, although only about 3/4 of it. The 2nd time I cooked this, I used 2% milk, and it was just as good, and I felt less guilty.

    Loved these potatoes. Not too creamy as others had said however I used about 5 lbs of potatoes. Had with steak for New Years Eve dinner and they were a hit!
