    I made these potatoes exactly the way Alton tells us to do it in the video. Oh. My. God. These are fantastic. For those of you who said "I had garlic potato soup!" watch the video. Wait 5 minutes. Have patience, my dears. You'll be so, so happy that you did. I don't want to bring them to my Friendsgiving dinner today, but I suppose I have to. Everyone's supposed to bring a dish. I'm honestly considering dumping some cereal and M&Ms in a casserole dish, covering it with aluminum foil & keeping this garlic-parmesan-mashed-potato-cloud-from-heaven all for myself. Bless you, Alton Brown. Bless you.

    I brought these to my annual Friendsgiving and they were a huge hit! I didn't drain the potatoes enough so they were a little runny but everybody loved them. Very garlic-y but I was told you can never have too much garlic!

    Kind of bland. Add minced green chili and chopped jalapenos (with seeds and veins to liven up the party.
