Very tasty and easy to make. I will use pre-minced garlic next time to get more garlic flavor.

WAY TOO MUCH GARLIC.... I used 4 cloves instead of 6 and it was still WAY TOO MUCH...I will have to throw the rest of the uneaten potatoes out... If I ever tried this again (which I don't think I will.... I would use 1 clove, 2 max. Needed a lot of salt too.

Hard to believe anybody could think they are a little bland! My step daughter made these for our holiday dinner and EVERYBODY loved them, including my non-mashed potato eating teen-aged son. They are very flavorful (we all love garlic and I will definitely be making these again and again. Thank you!

Good, but a little bland. I liked the garlic and parmesan combination but I feel like we had to add a lot of salt to get it to be edible alone. I like my mashed potatoes to be able to hold up on their own, with gravy being optional.

Awesome! I made a 5 lb bag and actually went easy on the salt...about a 1/2 tbsp. I also was rushed to get Christmas dinner done so I used the pre-minced garlic and it tasted great! Everyone raved about it. This will be my stand-by mashed potato recipe from now on.

Yummy, and easy to make. The family was amazed that there was no butter. We enjoyed them for Thanksgiving along with my creamy, no lump, Turkey Giblet Gravy. Sincerely, Lani

I made these mashed potatoes for my mom's 60th birthday dinner. Everybody loved them. My brother kept saying how good they were and both my uncles went for seconds. I added this receipe to my receipe book.

I made these on Thanksgiving and they were a HUGE hit! I think I added a bit too much garlic but hey there were no complaints just my personal judgment ;
I also tweaked it a bit by adding some butter and pepper to it, but other then that I followed the recipe step by step and they were excellent! My daughter even asked me if I would make these again for Christmas dinner! Woohoo!
Thanks for this amazing recipe Alton!
