My 15 year old step-son made these crepes after watching Alton brown make them. They are even delicious with out any filling. I'm sure they will become a common treat in our house!

I make these after church on Sundays when I am visiting my parents. Eveyone loves these delicate crepes, and we fill them with thinly sliced strawberries and whipped cream or apples with walnuts and carmel sauce. I have to make a double batch of the batter since they are eaten up so fast.

I have never made manicotti before & everyone had a recipe for what went into a manicotti but noone could tell me how to make the shell.I took my problem to Alton & he had the easiest recipe even i a novice could handle. I even had all the ingrtedients i needed in the house which is high on my list when searching for a recipe.

Easy crepes are great as a meal or as dessert (by adding sugar to taste. On New Year's Eve, I filled dessert crepes with chocolate pudding and topped with canned whipped cream and Jimmies. Wonderful, professional looking and easy!

This is a perfect basic recipe on which you can build your skills. Master it and begin to try the variations. Just like the crepes my mother made for me.

I have been making crepes for many, many years, and this is the best recipe I have tried. It is also easier to work with, as the crepes are not as prone to tearing when they are turned. I made the recipe exactly as given and can't see that it could possibly be improved upon. It makes a nice light crepe that is very tender. The blender method works great and makes the process so much easier.
I use an inexpensive French crepe pan that is available from gourmet kitchen stores. If you are going to make them very often, it makes things a lot easier to have the right pan.

I am a new to crepe making and after a few mediocre attempts I found Alton's recipe. It was quick and easy and the crepes came out great. A little strawberry preserves and we had a great breakfast. Thanks Alton.
