    I love to bake and this morning, at 1:30am, I was baking bread, cinnamon rolls and doughnuts. I needed a good glaze recipe and I tried this one. It took my doughnuts from being really good, to being just awesome and beyond good. Thanks so much... Oh, I also found this glaze to be really good on cinnamon rolls as well.

    i've wanted to know how to make a simple glaze for a while and good eats did it for me when i saw the episode of "circle of life". I've used the glaze on top of different type of cakes and cookies.

    Veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy good. I used it on my donut recipe and brought a batch into my son's shop. They didnt last more than a few minutes.

    How could a bunch of chefs at the food network mess this up??? Very simple recipe. Yet they did. If you make it the way it's written, it will taste like a spoonful of medicine. Reduce the vanilla to 1/2 tsp or a little less. There's no way they tested this!
