When I want to impress, this is what I make for friends and family...ok well...my husband actually makes it. Anyhow, it's so darn good. I can't even put into words how satisfying this meal is. My 1 and 3 year old girls even love it; how sophisticated is that? Enough said...Alton, your food science is greatly appreciated.

Even though this is a multi-part recipe, it was easy to follow and worked really well. My only questions was around the poached eggs in that I thought the yoke should still be runny but they were definitely hard using this recipe. No matter! This is my wife's favorite dish so I made it for her for our anniversary. She was tickled. Thanks!

Just made the english muffins so I can only rate on them - let them rise longer than called for (not by plan so they turned out huge - but the flavour is great. I used Bush's Baked bean cans - the bottoms come off easily and they seem to be the right size.

My rating is for the hollandaise sauce only because that is all I tried. I would have reviewed Alton's other hollandaise recipe except that it's different enough from this one to warrant a separate review. I have never made hollandaise before and this was very easy to make. I agree with other reviewers that trying to take the temperature constantly was very awkward and I gave up on that after just a few minutes in. Also, I don't have a gas range, so I had to use medium-low heat instead of low because it was just taking way too long to come together. I also agree with the other reviewers about this being too "lemony", or as my family said, "twangy". I will significantly reduce the amount of lemon juice the next time, and there will definitely be a next time. Otherwise, another great "how-to" by my favorite TV host.

This recipe was super easy to follow and yielded tasty results! Even my toddler loved it, and he usually won't touch any kind of egg without cheese! This is a great weekend meal, perfect for sharing with family and fancy looking enough to impress your friends!

The best eggs benedect we've ever had, and not at all difficult. Thinking next time I'll try smoked salmon in place of canadian bacon.

This recipe was delicious. My husband and I had never had eggs benedict (let alone poached eggs before we made this but I really wanted try it. When I saw Alton had a recipe for it, I knew we couldn't go wrong. Everything about it was delicious. The sauce especially, which stressed me out at first because it looked so complicated but I ended up getting it right on the first try. We used less lemon juice (about half of what Alton suggested, based on the reviews and extra cayenne pepper. I will definitely be making this again.
