Absolutely delicious!!! I would definitely make these again -- perhaps even weekly -- they were THAT good!!! I didn't make the crema b/c I totally missed the fact that I needed to prepare it in advance so it could refrigerate for 24 hrs. Instead, I used sour cream along w/ store bought wheat flour tortillas (dairy section and cabbage. We all -- even my 6 yr old son -- loved them!! The fish is so tasty that you could literally eat it alone on a plate w/ some veggies. My husband and I almost fought over who got the left-overs for today's lunch!

This was my first time cooking fish, because honestly I was scared I'd over or under doi it. This was amazing. A great way to prep the fish especially if you're nervous. Knowing the "pan" will be a consistent temperature helped. The recipe itself was great, althought I used parsley since I think Cilantro is evil.

This is truly a 5-Star recipe! Tilapia Tequila Tacos! Alton Brown is a culinary genius! My daughter-in-law kept ordering fish tacos whenever we went out for Mexican. My wife decided to try to make some, and we turned to -- Alton Brown! Thank you!

Wow! The fish was great! We added diced cucumbers & tomatoes instead of the cabbage and my family ate it all up. Easy to make.

On our honeymoon in Maui, my husband and I had the famous "Maui Tacos". When we returned home we were determined to make our version of them. We sampled fish tacos at several local restaurants but nothing even came close. Then we tried Alton's version....even better than Maui Tacos!! Extremely delicious! We've made it a million times for family and friends and the recipe is always requested!! Our tip.....We don't usually have tequilla in the house (mainly a whiskey family so when we make this recipe we buy a small airplane bottle of tequilla...its the perfect amount!!

I love AB, and this is the tastiest recipe of his I've made yet. I've done it all from scratch, but I've also found that I can cut a lot of the work and keep a lot of the flavor by buying high-quality tortillas and warming them on the griddle and by blending plain yogurt, sour cream and the chipotle in adobo for the crema. Mixing in a little yogurt gives a similar tanginess to the from-scratch version.

Love these! I prepared the whole recipe and froze what I didn't cook in ziplocks. Instead of using the griddle I used my George Foreman to grill the fish with much success! I also subbed sour cream for the crema and just added some lime, hot sauce and pepper to it.
