If you are currently not a big french toast fan, this recipe will make you one. On my first attempt, I made this to perfection and it was a winning dish for my family brunch! Everyone had something great to say about it.

The extra time it takes for this recipe is well wroth it. Try making fresh bread the night before and letting it air over night.

The only way I'll make French Toast every again. We used a Raisin/pecan crusty bread from a local bakery and it was fantastic! Was good even without toppings!

Easy to make but pretty filling. I ate two pieces and felt that it was enough (which is a good thing being a big eater. I would recommend balancing out the richness and sweetness with a little bacon or sausage on the side. Good match

My husband loves French toast, but I rarely made it because it was so messy and such a pain to make. This recipe is very clean and easy to make. I loved the taste and texture of it. My husband enjoyed it, but thought it need to be a little creamier. I think the lack of creaminess was on my part for not letting the bread get dry enough. Over all it is a great recipe for the not so culinarily in clined as well as for people who live to cook.

This was the best french toast. Preparation was simple and the toast was delicious. Even my children enjoyed eating this toast. I recommend this recipe to anyone who is looking for a simple but delightful breakfast or lunch!
