A B most of your recipes are wonderful this one needed a small change, 1 tablespoon of Rum extract, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of white sugar, with three eggs and three egg whites. It was not as eggie as the first time we made it, this was only the second try and it was wonderful.

Maybe I need to watch the episode on this one but I found these to be really bland and too eggy. It really tasted like a scrambled egg sort of concoction to me. I know I have a dinky little cheap fryer (as opposed to a fry pan full of oil but they took longer to cook than estimated too. Was not very pleased with the recipe - which is unfortunate because I look to AB for a LOT of my recipes and have been really happy before.

these were way too eggy that none of the kids in the house would eat them. It didn't cook very well and i think that there is way too many eggs in the recipe. It didn't seem like it even cooked all the way through. It was tasteless and disgusting. I am very disappointed. I will definitely never use this recipe again!

Judging by the recipe I decided to add vanilla more sugar to make it taste more like a dessert. I also put strawberry sauce on top with vanilla ice cream.

This recipe produces as very think "batter" and, when fried, has a very strong "egg" flavor. It's a lot different than what I'm used to for a funnel cake.
