I'm not fond of glazed carrots but these- WOW!! I only had diet, bland ginger ale and still these turned out incredibly well. Thank you!

I saw the episode when it originally aired and had to try it. It's become a staple of my holiday meals. For a little added kick, I use ginger beer instead of ginger ale. It can be hard to find, but in my opinion it is what helps to make the dish.

I made this and found the carrot to be perfectly sweet and tender. Both my husband and I devoured this and were soon disappointed that I only made half the portion. This will surely be a regular on our dinner plate!

This recipe is amazing! I made it for my family last night and my husband asked me what was in it 3 times. I kept telling him and he thought it had to have a lot of REALLY bad stuff in it to taste so GOOD! My twelve year old son is the one who encouraged me to make it. He loved the idea of using Ginger Ale. My ten year old daughter loved it too. It was sweet, rich, and satisfying. A home run in our house.

Delicious and very easy to make. I used baby carrots because that's what I had and they worked perfectly as well.

I have prepared this dish a dozen times, for fancy company and casually. People are always surprised when I bring out the ginger ale. They are even more surprised when they eat them. Extraordinary.

Who would have thought chili powder could add a whole other dimension to the flavor of these carrots. Wow! Thank you, Alton, for another wonderful recipe :

I'm not a big fan of vegetables and I've never liked carrots. Until now. I made a large pan of carrots the other night expecting to freeze the leftovers for later use. I didn't have any chili powder on hand so I threw in some pumpkin pie spice and a little bit of extra ginger instead. It was so good you could almost top it with whipped cream and call it dessert. I put the leftovers in the fridge first to cool completely and then into the freezer but it didn't last very long. Two days later I defrosted it in the microwave and put it right back on the table for dinner and it still tasted delicious! I guess I'll just have to double my next batch.
