This is by far the best meatloaf I've ever had.

After trying and failing with several of my own concoctions I turned to Alton Brown and boy did he come through for me. In fact, with the exception of needing to refine my techinique, every recipe of his I have tried has been wonderful. This is a very simple recipe that yields great results.

This is a delicious meat loaf, and what a good way to get extra vegetables into your kids!
One problem -- it took about two hours to cook, not the 45 minutes listed in the recipe description. I think it must have been a typo.

This was my very first AB recipe, and man was it great! The loaf was very, very flavorful and moist, and the glaze was out of this world, too! I will definitely be making this one again. Oh yeah, it did make a great meatloaf sandwich the next day!! I am a HUGE fan of the show. Alton, you rock and so do your recipes!

Alton, you've done it again. My husband
used to make fun of your scientific
approach to cooking, but after tasting
this terrific meatloaf he is another
one of your converts. Thanks sweetie!

I halved the cayenne and chili powder like another review (I'm not a big fan of spicy food, plus I have children who I have to appeal to, and it tastes delicious. I would add a little more honey to the glaze next time. Overall glaze really compliments the meatloaf.

I have made this meat loaf on a number of occasions. It is the best and I will never make another. Easy to do and so flavorable. A definite winner.
