We love Alton Brown, and finally decided to make one of his recipes. Last night we made the meatloaf. If you like a spicy flavorful meal that will stick to your ribs, this is it. Personally, I think it calls for a bit too much garlic. The next time I make it, I'll omit the 3 cloves and just let the garlic croutons do the work. Otherwise, I would have to say this was very, very delicious. I would recommend anyone to try it.

This was the best meatloaf I ever made. It was very flavorful and moist. I used an extra egg because it seemed like it might be a little dry. It came out perfect. I will be making this again.

Ok this is officially the best meatloaf ever. I usually find meatloaf to be pretty boring and this was a great change of pace. Great seasonings and texture. The only downside is that it is a big meatloaf and it takes well over an hour to reach temperature - hard to wait cause it smell so good.

I've read the reviews and please anyone who did not like this meatloaf and the glaze is not a meatloaf lover like me and my boyfriend. I think that is the only reason he likes me sometimes. I love Alton's meatloaf and would put it up against anyone else's meatloaf any day, any time anywhere, and I would win using his recipe...Go Alton you Rock!

This has great taste and texture. I always thought meatloaf was a mushy, greasy paste until I tried this. Even the kids ate it!

I won't let my wife make other meatloaf anymore!! The combination of flavors is delicious and the glaze just puts it over the top.
