I thought how odd....and then, that's a lot of work. However I belived in the science, and have done this each year since the first time it aired.

Alton works for a person like me because if I understand the chemistry of the software and hardware, it opens a new world me. It also make for interesting conversation.

Juicy, tender, and if done right, looks like it came right out of a cooking magazine.

I first decided I was going to make a turkey 2 years ago. It was my first time making one. I watched Good Eats and everything made sense. I even forgot about the bird while playing XBOX and it still came out great. it was still moist and the meat fell off the bone.

Hint: Save yourself the bother of brining and buy yourself a kosher turkey, it's already done for you!! This is a little different from Martha's and was much tastier. I have a kosher grocery store here and bought a frozen one. Everyone loved it and said it was the best yet. We celebrate Thanksgiving early so we're already enjoying the sandwiches. Thanks Alton your the man. Hope the Food Network isn't taken away from us like the Travel Channel or SciFi Network. Happy Holidays.

Hands down, the most tender, juicy, succulent turkey ever. This was the first time I've evern done a full turkey, and it's now become our traditional recipe.

We also made the tart cranberry dipping sauce with it that was also spectacular. Search no further - this is simple, relatively hassle free and you won't be disapointed.

I have never been a fan a turkey, as people have a tendency to cook all of the love out of it. But I made this turkey a few years ago and everyone who ate it said it was the tastiest, moistest turkey they ever ate. This year, I am providing disaster relief in New Orleans and am away from my family. But, I have access to an oven and plan to make this one again for some coworkers of mine who won't be able to make it home for the holidays. : THANKS ALTON!!

I have been making this recipe (with modifications each year since the show aired. The best turkey my family has had. This year, spiking the brine with some Bourbon to add a different flavor.

Okay I'll admit it looks daunting @ first glance but the results are worth it. I was NOT going to have another DRY Turkey. I did not put the aromatics in the cavity cause I stuffed it but we had over 20 people for dinner and EVERYONE love it thought it had GREAT flavor AND best of all was moist!
