We have made this turkey for the last three years and will continue to make it for many more. It makes the juciest bird we have ever eaten!

I've been looking for a good brine and stuffing recipe for years. This one covers all the basics. Just roasted a 19 lb'er on Saturday and it was perfect. The only thing I did differently was put some oil, sage, and rosemary under the skin. Very nice stuff sir. I commend you.

Alton is unstopable, this man is a culinary GENIUS. I combined the bruine from his smoked turkey recepy with this recepy and.... WOW man OH man. the best turkey ever soft, juice, melts in your mouth. easy to cut like a hot knife through soft butter. add. potatoes and gravy.... holy cow it was good. EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THIS. thanks, Alton.

I've used this preparation ever since this special first aired. I've never gone back to the basting method.

This is the only way I will consider making a turkey. It smells delicious and tastes even better. It has become my definition of Thanksgiving!

Alton Brown is the greatest. I love his show.

I had always been afraid to brine anything, but Alton Brown made it not so frightening. And....Ohhhhhhh, the turkey was soooooooo good. My husband thought it was fantastic, too.

    Thanks Alton.
