I have used the recipe to alton's brine on our Thanksgiving turkey for the last 5 years or so. I am only 36 and my mother grandmother and even my Mother-in-Law all agree I make the juciest turkey they have ever had. Thank you Alton you made me feel like the star of the kitchen on Thanksgiving. That means alot here in the south as you well know.

This recipe is very easy to follow and the outcome is astounding. My whole family loved and they are very sad that I am not home to make it this year.

The first year I used this recipe my son, a budding chef looked up and said to me "I didn't know turkey could be juicy"! I will definately use the recipe again this year!

It is by far the best turkey you can make. It is moist and delicious. And the recipe is easy. I make my turkey this way every Thanksgiving.

I made this for the first time in 1999 for Thanksgiving and have subsequently prepared the recipe to the letter twice a year since! Forget your trendy turduckens and the redneck favorite, deep-fried turkey: this recipe---and Alton Brown---RULE!

This is the moistest and tenderest turkey I have ever made. If people who don't normally eat turkey loved it.
