Turkey was very moist and tender. It thawed overnight in a 5 gallon bucket of water changed every 2 to 3 hours. It came came out golden brown. There were no left overs to save for another meal.

I thoroughly enjoyed this dinner. My entire family was pleased with my first Thanksgiving dinner! I even made a second turkey for my mother-in-law, who loved it! Thanks for the help!

I've had Turkey many different ways: Fried, Roasted, injected with butter, nothing has ever come out as good as this. Very moist, and unlike most recipes where you flavor the outside of the Turkey (which consequently gets removed when you don't eat the skin the brine flavored the entire bird. And it gives a spicy inviting smell to the house.

Wonderfully juicy meat and beautiful browning, with a nice flavor to the juices for making gravy to accompany the meal

Great directions - very easy to follow. Provide some illustrations on how to "tie back wings" and which side to cook turkey in the oven.

This brine recipe is top-notch. The bird comes out super moist, extremely flavorful and makes others jealous they don't have you cooking for them all the time! A suggestion is to use a bucket with a cover and put this outside if the weather is cooperative... Had a bit of a problem when the temperature suddenly dropped sub-zero and woke in the morning to find my brine... well, frozen solid.
