I made this at the fire station, it was the simplest and best roast turkey I have ever made. It was so good that we did not have any left overs.

I've never eaten such a good turkey in my life.As with Altons grilled salmon, this will be a regular when we make turkey.

So, three years ago I was wanting to make the Thanksgiving Turkey for my family and friends. We usually have about 50 plus people at my parents house. My husband doesn't like turkey so I needed a recipe that would change his mind. His biggest complant about turkey was that it is always dry. I was pregnant with our fourth child and I needed something that I was not going to have to be "baisting" all day. I saw another one of the cooking shows about placing a chicken in bryne so I started to look for someone doing a turkey in bryne. Lo and behold I found all that I needed in one recipe. My family and friends start to call me around Halloween and ask me if I am going to make the turkey for Thanksgiving. My husband asks for it year round now and my kids love it, also. Oh yes, I love it and I love to make it. Thanks again.

I have been using Altons recipe for 3 years now and it if always fantastic. Use this recipe and you will be the king or Quean of thanksgiving. But I will bet that it will put turkey on the menu several more times a year.

This is the most juicy, delicious turkey that I've ever eaten. The cooking time is so much shorter, and the meal is wonderful. Even the gravy has great flavor when you use the drippings, because of all of the aromatics that you put into the turkey's cavity.

This is the best turkey recipe I have ever come across.

We have been using this recipe for the last few years and I have no plans of ever changing.

The only difference is that I use a rotissere oven to cook it. My family and friend rave about this turkey every year. In fact my own mother "HATES" turkey but cant get enough of mine every turkey day.

If you use the recipe you will not be disappointed!

I saw the episode this recipe comes from last year, and gave it a test run at work (a restaurant. Both turkeys disappeared in less than 30 minutes. I'm preparing my turkey with this recipe this year as well. Wonderful way of preparing a turkey.
