I will never buy granola again unless in a pinch. This recipe is so easy and open to interpretation --- peanuts insteaad of cashews, add pine nuts, sunflower seeds, dried blueberries instead of raisins and on and on and on. There is always a cambro tub of this in our cupboard now. Thanks Alton! (like he actually reads these.

Wonderfully flavored! I had a lot of different add-ins, but this is a great starter recipe.

This is another fabulous recipe from Alton. I love being able to control exactly what's in my food. This tastes so much better than storebought, plus I feel better giving it to my family knowing that there are no preservatives or other ingredients I can't pronounce like on the box labels!

Another big hit here! We substituted craisins for the raisins and it was wonderful.

This stuff is unbelievably delicious! I just finished my first batch about an hour ago and after it cooled off- I haven't been able to stop munching on it! But like alot of other people, I added Dried cranberries, but this is definately the best add in ever: Butter toffee peanuts! OK, so they're not that healthy, but they are delicious! I also didn't have real maple syrup on hand, so I had to use regular pancake syrup- turned out awesome anyways!

It is the best granola I've ever eaten or made, and believe, I have eaten too many granolas!!! And believe me, not one as goss as this one! I used whole almods and peanuts and it came out Mmmmm...you just have to be careful with the cooking time, ovens vary and you might get a slightly burned granola if you dont pay attention. Just keep Ur Eye and the results will be worth it!!!

This granola has a nutty, natural taste, slightly sweetened with natural maple syrup and is very adaptable to any dried fruit or add in. I add a few semi-sweet mini chocolate chips for the kids. My only problem is making the granola easier to eat for snacktime at school. It's hard to eat out of your hand without making a great big mess.

This is an easy, healthy, and yummy granola. I am definitely planning to keep some of this on hand at all times.
