This recipe is WONDERFUL!! Very easy to make and very very tasty. I also use it for both snack and cereal. Anyone have a calorie or nutritional breakdown on this recipe? My husband loves this but is trying to loose weight. He was wondering if he could mix a little with fruit or yogurt to give some crunch.

I made this for the first time today. Only things I did differently was place the entire recipe on one pan (with a silicon baking sheet and after 45 minutes, when we had to leave, I turned the heat off and left it in the oven, figured I would finish cooking it later. It was Perfect when we returned
- tan throughout, dry, done! Mixed in the fruit and jarred it! Delicious!

Wow, why did I wait so long to make this granola! Awesome flavor and so easy to make. I added a lot more dried fruit and split the batch to include chocolate chips in one half, now we have breakfast and snacks for the whole week!
I'll N-e-v-e-r buy granola again. Thanks, AB!!

I have made this recipe several (many! times. Each time I add at the end whatever I've found at the store as far as dried berries, fruit medleys, banana chips, chopped dates, craisins, etc. I had no trick-or-treaters the last three years so this year (when they, of course, showed up after I bought no candy I gave out little bags of this granola. One little girl grabbed for it so quickly, she dropped her little plastic jack-o'-lantern treat bucket. Folks I've shared the granola with, want the recipe. I just made another batch this afternoon. Another Alton Brown classic.

This was amazing! I changed it up a little the second time I made it, and substituted pistachios for the cashews, and added white chocolate chips while it was still warm, so it melted into the granola, and it was FANTASTICO! Making more today, lol, I can't stop eating it!
