Awful! Best word for it. I made this soup exactly as written in the recipe. Had planned to serve it to my book club. I tasted it & thought "weird". Later in the day, my husband tried it. He thought it was awful. Said I definitely shouldn't serve it. Hated to dump it as I had made so much but oh well. Made another food network cold soup that was fantastic & enjoyed by everyone. I'm glad I made the decision I did.

    Tomatillos with grapes???

Sounds weird but it tastes good. It's kind of a like a soupy fruit salad.

Seved along side a spicy black bean soup. Phenominal together. The combination of flavors compliment each other perfectly. Love the grapes, apples with the toasted walnuts. I added a little jalapeno for a fresh hint of heat with the sweet fruit and earthy toasted nuts. Just a great cold soup.

Not what I thought it would be at all. This is so delightful with a pleasant burst of freshness. Very sweet, so portions are small.

This was really easy to make. I skipped the walnuts (don't care for them and it was a big hit with family and friends. The recipe was not quite enough; everyone wanted more.

Didn't think this sounded too good, but MAN it is. Very light, very cool, very refreshing on hot summer evenings. Someone said it looked horrible, but I think it looks just fine, looks cool, eats cool, and is good for you. GOOD EATS!

Have to admit it tastes pretty good even though I have to close my eyes and try to forget that it looks like vomit.

I tried this recipe for my wife after seeing it on "Good Eats" recently. She thought it would be a nice change from traditional gazpacho, and indeed it was. The tomatoes and the apples/grapes go together a lot better than I first expected. I'm glad we gave this a shot.
