Really creative and good recipe, but the salt needs to be reduced. Instead of microwaving and skewering, they can be roasted in a 400°F oven until tender about 30-40 minutes. Also I added some lime juice to the recipe and marinated turkey thighs in it. Incredible.

I used sprouts right off the stalk. With these flavors--wow. Loved it. I didn't skewer them either. The microwave part cooked them a lot, so I pan sauteed them to finish. I was surprised to microwave them without water or cover but it worked so well I will experiment with other dense vegetables. Alton never fails.

What do you know...I do like Brussels sprouts, thanks to this recipe! I didn't skewer them, rather I grilled them in a holed grilling tray we have - much easier I'm sure and probably comes out the same. I did as another suggested and added some feta at the end...yum!

Great accompaniment to the grilled sirloins and roasted potatoes we had tonight. Super easy and super tasty.

Super-delicious and easy to make, they disappeared within minutes after they were served! Made them at my parents' house using their outdoor grill. Going to try using my George Foreman grill at home.

I put them in a pouch of tin foil because skewers were too hard to get through the sprouts. So yummy! What a great and different flavor. Will definitely make them again. Might even try that on a diff veggie.

This is AMAZING! Instead of grilling, I threw the microwaved and seasoned sprouts into a skillet and just pan-fried them for a few minutes. They came out absolutely delicious, not to mention the beautiful color! I wasn't even a big fan of brussel sprouts! Thank you for this lovely recipe!!
