This was delicious! I added 2T of orange marmalade to the sauce to sweeten it a bit for the kids. I didn't thicken the sauce enough but it still tasted great.

I made this for dinner tonight exactly as it's written and it was delicious! Interestingly, one of my favorite parts was the marinated onions in the sauce. One tip that I think Alton would agree with: use FRESH fish! Mine was in the fridge for one night and already the corners were dry and fishy smelling/tasting. My fault, though, and it was still an amazing piece of fish.

A recommended recipe. Since I was out of red onions, I doubled up on the white onions. Since I had Don Julio (gold tequila and I doubled up on the orange juice to offset the strong drink. It turned out to be soooooo good. I included grilled peppers and zuccini in the works. I also made fried rice (garlic, green onions with orange zest on top. My family cleaned up their plate. Surely, we will make this recipe again.

I made this for my daughters graduation party. I had never had mahi mahi before and this was a HUGE hit. Everyone loved it. Not too hot and not too sweet--just right. Look forward to making it again in the near future for my family.

This is by far my husbands dish, he constantly begs me to make it for him, it has such great flavor, and when you add extra jalapeno it gives it that extra kick. I am cooking it tonight for dinner again!! Thanks Alton for a great recipe.

I knew this was going to be good just reading the recipe...my husband wasn't so sure...He was pleasantly surprised....as was I at his overwhelming support of this new way to have one of our favorite fishes.
