Really great recipe. I made it one night and substituted some greek yogurt with a bit of honey for the ice cream after realizing we were out. It turned out really nice! However, the directions in the recipe and the directions in the video are a little off. It turns out much nicer if you pay more attention to the video and grill the peaches before poaching.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy! I'm going to try making an ice cream version of this by grilling the peaches and swirling the raspberry into some vanilla ice cream

Does anyone remember Alton's instructions on this episode, how to freeze peaches. I believe he said; 1 1/2 pds peaches, 3/4 cup sugar, lemon juice?
I just can't remember the amounts and the process. Would appreciate it
if someone can share with me.

It was so so good. I didn't plan on making it. I had some very ripe peaches and my husband was grilling. I was really just looking for technique but had all the ingrediants so I tried it. O, Me, O My!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fixed this tonite as a lite desert to go with our grilled dinner. It was really quick and kind of an afterthought after noticing overripe peaches in the basket. It went together very quickly and I thought I had some vanilla ice cream. My mistake. But we ate the peaches as is with the syrup over them. WOW!! What a wonderful treat and fabulous way to use up peaches. The kids and my husband were looking for seconds. A definite do-over!

    ALTON,
You need to do a Bar-b-que show. A good GA boy should have some interesting perspective here.
