Agree with other reviewers - more chipotle. I'd reduce the lime juice - it wasn't too limey, but it didn't need as much lime as it had; almost overpowered the flavor of the meat.
Marinated mine for about 8 hours which was plenty - I think longer would have made for too much lime flavor and might have made the meat mushy.
Reviewers have raved at how juicey and tender the pork was. It's TENDERLOIN, it should be tender unless you cook it to death. As for juicy, again, if you don't overcook the pork it should be quite moist.
I'm not saying this wasn't good, but it was not outstanding. I have other recipes for pork tenderloin that require less work, and are actually better. (There's an apricot glazed pork tenderloin on another site that will knock your socks off!
Might make this again with modifications. I do like the idea of steeping the cooked pork in the reserved marinate - might try that again.

This recipe NEVER gets old. It's the most juiciest, tastiest grilled pork tenderloin and grills up quickly. I've made this several times and wouldn't change a thing.

Very moist and juicy but was not happy with the tangy taste of the lime. Also one chile in adobo sauce did not give it the kick it needed.

I didn't have the chile pepper in adobo so I substituted ancho chile powder and added a touch of "Picante Verde de chile habanero" and it was wonderful. Just the right amount of spice, sweet, and lime. The Wife is still raving about it.

This was by far the most tender and moist pork tenderloin I have ever had. The recipe was easy and turned out wonderful... I was amazed, I only had a couple of hours to marinate and yet it was beyond flavorful- putting the reserved marinade on at the end really does the trick. My only substitution was for the chipotle pepper- I had everything but the pepper on hand but I did happen to have some chipotle tobasco, so I put a couple of shakes of it in the marinade and it tasted wonderful. I will absolutely be making this again- definitely for company! Thank you Alton!!!

Perfect summer grilling recipe. Follow exactly as is. When the meat thermometer reads 140 it's done. Trust the force.
