Fabulous! The whole family said it was the best guacamole they had ever had. We added some extra fresh garlic and one small chopped jalepeno. So glad to have found this recipe - thank you!

Great recipe which I've made several times but always the day I am serving it. Benjaminearle suggests letting it stand overnight. Won't it turn brown?

I have made guacamole from this recipe many many times over the past year! It's my favorite and really not difficult. I admit that sometimes I omit the tomatoes and add peppers or whatever I have around, but it always tastes delicious with quesadillas (how we usually have it.

Awesome!! I have yet to try a recipe from Alton Brown, that I don't like the result. This was amazing. It was actually the best guacamole I've ever had.

Seriously. Quit looking for another guacamole recipe and stop reading these reviews. This is it. You've found the most perfect guacamole recipe.

This guac is excellent! I omitted all of the spices, just made it with avocado, tomato, red onion, cilantro and lime juice. It was my first time making this and it was very easy and tastes great.

This is the first time I ever made guacamole. This recipe is great! The cumin, cilantro and garlic give it a wonderful flavor, better than those I have tasted at some restaurants. I definitely plan to make this again!

Notwithstanding the fact that fresh cilantro IS included (yummy, I think that a very important ingredient was omitted - cumin. Also, although an hour of mingling time is good, overnight is better. Thanks Alton Brown for another approachable recipe - I'm sure your presentation on Good Eats was informative and witty..

Delish!!! Was looking for a good guacamole recipe, and this is it, even in spite of forgetting to include the cilantro (which I LOVE. Will make it again this week and will include the cilantro which will take it over the edge! Lots of flavor and hard to stop eating.
