Fine guacamole but no different from the guac I would make just spontaneously without a recipe. Love Alton. I wouldn't use a potato masher, I'd use a fork or something I have more control over to leave bigger pieces of avocado.

Excellent! I make this without the tomatoes and the juice of one more lime, totally yummy.

Not only do *I* love this recipe, but I have made it for parties and gatherings of friends and they now call it "CRACKamole" because it's so addictive and delicious. I am not allowed to show up to the party without it!

Alton Brown never lets you down!! This is the best guacamole ever! I used what I had on hand tho so its not exactly the same. I used lemon instead of lime and canned diced tomatoes (i drained them first and I added a bit of olive oil at the end. I omitted the peppers because it would be too hot for me, everything else I did exactly as instructed : Came out Delicious!!

I now am told that I have to bring this Guacamole to gatherings. I prefer Frank's Red Hot in place of the Cayenne. Also, I will mix everything except the avocado the night before and let the ingredients 'marry'.

LOVE this guacamole! Alton adds jalapeno in the video, but for some reason it's not listed on the recipe... I like a bit of kick so I add 2-3 small jalapenos minced. Be sure that the onions and tomato are actually DICED and not minced. Cut them up too small and they overwhelm the delicious avocado.
